We are looking forward to a great conference November 7-9, 2021 at the Bloomington-Normal Marriott Hotel & Conference Center. One of the greatest benefits to all of our members are the corporate exhibits. The exhibits provide a great opportunity for one-on-one conversations about product and service offerings.
Exhibit space is available to all GMIS Illinois Corporate Members in good standing. You must be registered for GIANTS by October 11th to guarantee exhibit space assignment. If you have any questions regarding exhibiting, please contact Emily Bell, GMIS Illinois Executive Director.
Corporate members are strongly encouraged to participate fully at GIANTS including all of the sessions and events through Wednesday. There are also some extra special opportunities to promote your organization.
Corporate Interviews - right after the President's welcome on Monday morning we will be doing live video interviews of all the corporate members at their exhibit space. This is your chance to give a one-minute "commercial" about your organization and your offerings so that attendees know who you are, what you do and where to find you.
Corporate Dinners - Monday night is scheduled to be "dinner on your own", however, corporate members have the option to schedule dinner outings for attendees. This is completely optional and is coordinated directly by the corporate members.
Casino Night Celebration - After dinner on Monday night our entertainment function is casino night back at the hotel with snacks and drinks provided. Attendees will be able to gamble "GMISbucks" for chances to win raffle tickets. Attendees will be able to choose which prizes they would like to win by putting earned raffle tickets in for that prize. Corporate members who wish to provide raffle prizes will be able to add them to the prize pool and receive a little extra promotion. (Corporate members are reminded to follow the Illinois State Officials and Employees Ethics Act when picking raffle items).
Exhibit Schedule & Space
Table space is limited to a single 6'x30" table. Platinum and Gold Members will get two tables. Space is limited and all items must be kept in your assigned space.
Power will be available at all tables.
Free WiFi is available in the conference center and your hotel rooms.
Sun 11/07 - Exhibit setup - 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Please find the table labeled with your company name inside the meeting rooms, Redbird C & D. (Setup also available 6:30 am to 7:30 am on Monday, no setup allowed after 7:30 am Monday)
Mon 11/08 - Corporate Interviews - 8:45 am
Be at your exhibit space by 8:45 am on Monday to participate in the live Corporate Member introductions
Mon 11/08 and Tue 11/09 - Meals and networking breaks
There will be many opportunities to network with attendees during meals and breaks in between educational sessions.
Tue 11/09 - Exhibit Tear Down - 5:00 pm
No items should be shipped to the Marriott for the conference without prior notice, via email, to Morgan Dodson at the Marriott. Items should not be shipped to arrive before November 6, 2021. Items shipped, with notification, will be stored in a secured room. The Marriott is not responsible for damage or loss to any items shipped. Please be sure shipped items are clearly labeled for the GMIS Illinois Conference and YOUR company name, not the shipping company’s name.
